Get to know me!
Hey there! I'm Joyce, and I love leading and organizing class events, but I'm passionate about a lot of other things as well! Read on to learn more about me :)
I've always been an open minded person and always willing to learn, so I love taking on new challenges and putting myself out of my comfort zone whenever I can.
I also love meeting new people and getting to know them, because that's how you gain new perspectives on life, which is essential for being a great leader.
When I have free time, I love to go out and hangout with my friends and family. Even though I don't have as much time to do whatever I want in high school, I try to get outside and see other people as much as I can. I love traveling to new places, eating all kinds of food, and just generally exploring and appreciating the wonderful diversity of our world!
I've always been very involved with different activities, in and out of school. I've played soccer for eight years, ran cross country for the past four seasons, and this year is my first year for track! Being active and being a part of a sports team not only keeps me physically healthy, it also gives me a way to meet new people and learn more about them. Running actually isn't so bad once you get to know the people you run with, cross country and track have been one of my favorite things to do in high school so far.

I'm deeply involved with leadership and school/class events, but lately I've also been really interested in business and technology! I'm currently a part of Lynbrook's FBLA, and it helps me to learn more about how our society functions economically and structurally.
